Women’s Yoga Workshop: Alignment, Pelvic Floor, and Mindfulness
Take some time for yourself and join us for this 2-hour workshop designed just for women. Together, we’ll explore a number of commonly used yoga poses and break them down to help answer the questions ‘am I doing this right?’ and ‘what am I supposed to feel in this pose?’ We’ll also incorporate yoga poses to help strengthen your pelvic floor and bring more mindfulness into your everyday life.
Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to grow your practice, this workshop is all about building awareness and deepening the connection to your body and enhancing your overall well-being. (we can just keep this part if adding the rest below is too long)
What to Expect
Breathwork and Bandhas
We’ll start with simple breathing techniques (pranayama) to center and ground you, then introduce bandhas—yoga’s subtle “energy locks”—to help you engage your pelvic floor and core.
Asana Foundations
Next, we’ll dive into some key yoga poses like Warrior I & II, Triangle, Crescent Lunge, and Chaturanga Dandasana. You’ll learn how to move with better alignment and explore how breath and energy flow enhance each pose.
Cool Down and Relaxation
We’ll finish with counterposes to release tension and wrap up with Yoga Nidra, a guided relaxation practice to leave you feeling grounded and refreshed.
No matter your experience level, this workshop is designed to meet you where you are. It’s a chance to move, breathe, and reconnect in a welcoming space just for women.
